We have really hard water here in Northern Indiana and bought water to drink and cook with all the time. After figuring how much we spent on bottled or refill water it was and easy decision. This Berkey BK4X2-BB Big Berkey Filtration System unit filters all the bad stuff out and gives us fresh great tasting water.

 

The water tastes great and it really makes a difference in the filtration of the water. I tested the quality with a standard water kit and the water from the sink came out higher in acidity in comparison to the water filtered from the Berkey BK4X2-BB which was came out more Alkaline.

The iSpring 75GPD 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter system is solid in construction, and well made. On further inspection and research, it appears that this system is a rebranded system that is resold through many dealers at nearly the same price. This unit surpassed all expectations. It was much simpler to put together than was expected, as all the parts at first site were quite overwhelming.

This iSpring 75GPD 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter is a awesome low cost unit and the water tastes better then any water I have ever had bottled or tap. Our city water is cleaned by chlorine and this RO unit takes out that after taste and bad smell. I am speechless and would buy it over and over and recommend it over and over. Just buy yourself some stainless thermos bottles and you never have to buy bottled water again.

Reviews Watts Premier 531130 Filter-Pure UF-3 3-Stage Water Filtration System

After trying Aquasana and being extremely disappointed with their product quality I decided to try Watts Premier 531130 Filter-Pure UF-3 3-Stage Water Filtration System after reading some other reviews. What a difference it made in my drinking water. My water is actually a pleasure to drink. It tastes great straight from the tap (not cooled).

Also, the two more expensive filters had few reviews here and the ones that were written seemed suspiciously biased. Anyway, I selected the Watts Premier 531130 Filter-Pure UF-3 3-Stage mainly due to the high ratings here, its reasonable price, its use of widely available Watts filters and the certifications that validated its effectiveness. I was concerned about the effectiveness of the plastic diverter valve but it worked fine.
